D2R Barbarian Whirlwind Build

The Barbarian Whirlwind Build is the end game build that can get a player through nightmare and hell difficulty levels.

It cuts through your enemy target like they’re nothing while dealing insane output damage in a large AOE. You’ll mostly be focusing on Whirlwind as your main attack, along with the combination of Shout.

The Barbarian Whirlwind Build is intended for nightmare and hell difficulty levels that start around level 40. It’s recommended that you start off with the Frenzy Barbarian Build and then switch to Whirlwind at a later stage. If you’re already doing that, and you want to switch to this build, you can do it by claiming the ‘Den of Evil’ reward from the NPC named Kara (Rogue Encampment). You’ll get 3 re-specs and you’ll need to be on the same difficulty level to claim it.

Stat Distribution

Similar to most builds on the Diablo 2 Resurrected platform, the stat distribution for this build will focus on assigning the attribute points into Strength and Dexterity so that the equipment requirements can be met for D2R whirlwind barbarian. The remaining points will be added into Vitality for additional life points.

You’ll need to assign enough points in Strength to equip your equipment. It will entirely depend upon the gear that you’re using, as well as the additional Strength bonus you’re getting from it. Points in Dexterity will depend upon the type of weapon you’ll be using. The remaining points are going to be added in Vitality, and you don’t need to invest anything in Energy for D2R whirlwind barbarian.

Important

If you have a Hellfire Touch and an Annihilus; it will greatly reduce your attribute points investment in Strength. Instead, you can utilize these two charms to obtain +10 to 20 points in every attribute and +10 to 20 points in Elemental Resistances. If you have both in your inventory, it’ll save about 20 to 40 stat points, which can then be used for Vitality to increase your health pool for whirlwind barb diablo 2. The passive resistances that the charms offer will allow you to depend less on +All Resistance gear.

However, if you don’t have an Annihilus or a Hellfire Touch already, you need to stop what you’re doing and focus on obtaining them. The perfectly rolled ones are quite costly, but you can always opt for the bad ones at an affordable price, and then upgrade it when you have enough gold for whirlwind barb diablo 2.

Skills

Whirlwind makes your character move to the desired point while spinning to deal immense damage to the enemies around. Sword Mastery increases Attack and Damage rating if you’re using sword-type D2R items. Iron Skin enhances defense to make it a lot harder to damage you. Increase Speed adds additional points to your walk or run speed allowing you to defeat the enemies swiftly. Natural Resistance increases Elemental Resistances, which is known to be profoundly useful during combat scenarios. Shout increases defense among the party members to avoid incoming attacks. Battle Command is a battle cry that increases your skills by +1. Battle Orders offers the highest health between characters for each point spent on Vitality.

Weapons, Armor, and Accessories

Lore (Runeword), Demonhorn’s Edge/Halaberd’s Reign, Bloodletter (unique)/Oath (Runeword)/Kingslayer (Runeword), Stealth (Runeword)/Duress (Runeword), Gloves with defensive stats, Belt with Life and Resistances, Boots with Faster Walk or Run Speed, alongside Life and Resistances, Ring with Life, Stats, and Resistances, Amulet with Stats, Health, Resistances or additional Barbarian Skills, and Charms with additional Life, Resistances, Attack Rating, Damage, and Combat Skills for diablo 2 barbarian whirlwind build.

The Immortal King Set is a great choice for this build, but you’ll need to spend a lot of points on Strength to equip it. Also, instead of Sword Mastery, you need to approach Mace Mastery if you’re going for this set for diablo 2 barbarian whirlwind build. Once it’s complete, Stone Crusher will have an insane amount of elemental damage, which is great when combined with Whirlwind.

Max Level Equipment

Arreat’s Face (Unique), 2x Grief (Runeword), 2x Heart of the Oak (Runeword), Enigma (Runeword)/Fortitude (Runeword), Laying of Hands (Unique), String of Ears (Unique), Gore Rider (Unique), 1x Dual Leech Ring (Rare)/1x Raven Frost (Unique), and Highlord’s Wrath (Unique)/Mara’s Kaleidoscope (Unique).

New World Elemental Build: Fire Staff & Ice Gauntlet

The Fire Staff and Ice Gauntlet build revolves around a good AOE inflicted damage, and it is a ‘nuke setup’ for expedition runs, alongside annihilating a group of enemies. While it is primarily utilized for PVE purposes, you can also adapt the setup for PVP (Player vs Player) by switching a Fire Staff skill. If you’re seeking a powerful mage build, then the following guide is perfect for you, for New World Elemental build.

Working of the build

Once the enemies are grouped up, you can start with the opening phase as a mage by utilizing the Pillar of Fire and Fireball spells. If we are talking in terms of expeditions, you can leave it to the tank to gather them, and if it’s on a landscape, then you can around the mobs until you’ve gathered them together, for this New World Fire Staff Build. Doing so softens them up prior to the final blow.

Depending on the situation that you’re in, you can follow up the opening phase with Ice Shower and Ice Storm to grab hold of the enemies, and then switch to your Fire Staff to cast the fire spells again. If any mobs get through, you can finish them off with Incinerate, while also using Entombed when the situation looks grim. Entombed rapidly restores your mana, thus, allowing you to save plenty of mana potions for later.

Attributes

Both, New World Fire Staff Build and New World Ice Gauntlets scale with Intelligence, and that’s why they are an extraordinary pair, while also being quite straightforward with respect to attributes. For maximum performance level, you will want to add as many points as you can in Intelligence.

Similarly, Constitution is also important to place your attributes point in, because there are often times where you can take immense damage, which may likely cause your death. A constitution level of about 50 or higher is recommended to acquire the complete benefits of healing potions, and you need to particularly equip a Light Armor for this build.

Fire Staff Skills

Pillar of Fire

Pillar of Fire is a ranged AOE offering skill that inflicts additional damage on enemies with full health (when it is upgraded). For an extra boost, it’s good to lead the way with this special. Besides that, it has a short cast time so you need to plan accordingly.

Fireball

As the name suggests, it shoots a fireball into a small arc, and yes, it’s tough to aim but it does leave burning puddles on the ground that inflicts damage upon the enemies when they run over it. It’s recommended that you cast this spell once you’re sure that the mobs aren’t going to move, as it provides the best results at that time.

Incinerate

Incinerate knocks back the enemy targets and sets them on fire. Ideally, it isn’t utilized during expedition runs, but it is known to be useful in landscape areas where you don’t have to tank. You can use the spell to put some distance between the enemies and then range them down.

Burn Out

Burn Out is a good skill for PVP purposes; when you wish to escape an opponent who is close to you. In simpler words, it allows you to slide away while also damaging them. It’s also a good spell to utilize in PVE scenarios, but it’s more useful in general because of the insane tracking abilities that mobs possess, allowing them to turn mid animation and inflict damage while you’re sliding.

Ice Gauntlet Skills

Ice Storm

Ice Storm deals powerful damage in terms of AOE while slowing down the enemy in the targeted area. You can use this to offer a helping hand to your party in damaging the enemies, and then swap to Life Staff when healing is required, for this New World Ice Gauntlet.

Entombed

Entombed is an amazing skill to recover mana rapidly. You can use it to feel that your mana is about to run out, or when you have less mana and your party requires a significant amount of heal. You can also use it to AGGRO the enemies in dangerous situations.

Ice Pylon

Ice Pylon isn’t often utilized as a Life Staff Healer in the early content, but you can add it once you are familiarized with the build. It can inflict some damage and create a frosted area to get benefits with passive-specific abilities, such as Quick Frost and Refreshing Frost.

Weapons

When we talk in terms of weapons, you would want a Fire Staff and Ice Gauntlet without a doubt. Look out for the weapons that possess the Intelligence attribute in them to boost the overall damage. Similarly, having good Critical Chance, Light Damage, and Heavy Damage on Fire Staff would be wise as you’ll be using a lot of that to burn your enemies away. Don’t rely upon the Ice Storm spell because it can’t critically hit right now, so you don’t need it on your Ice Gauntlet. Besides that, ‘Mortal Siphoning’ is a great option to regenerate your mana, and ‘Refreshing’ to reduce the cooldown timer.

Concerning gems, Onyx is a reliable source to add on Fire Staves as they additionally boost the overall damage of Pillar of Fire, while also boosting the damage of heavy attacks on landscape mobs. Malachite is also a good addition for Ice Gauntlets because the spell Ice Storm slows down while boosting the ability of its span.

Armor

You need to consider Light Armor to inflict additional damage onto the enemy mobs, as well as increase your mobility. But honestly, you can use whatever armor you prefer. If you have higher ping, you can focus on Medium or Heavy tier armors, but if you’re more focused on dodging, then there’s no better option than approaching Light equipment. You can always use a Medium Chest piece with Light Armor to remain protected and yet keep mobility stable for faster movements.

Look out for armors with Constitution and Intelligence attributes on them, alongside the Resilience, which is an ideal perk for this build. Placing Diamonds onto the equipment is a good way to absorb the incoming damage, so if the gear or weapons have sockets, make sure you add some.

OSRS 1 to 99 Thieving Guide

Known as one of the most popular skills in OSRS, Thieving is a member-only privilege. It offers a great way to make OSRS Money without having to engage in tough battles. Similar to all the other skills, Thieving gives the best return at the highest levels, so that’s what we’re here to help you achieve. Let’s start!

Getting Started

Whether you’re in it to complete your skill cape collection, or you’re in it to make money, the first and foremost thing you need to do before starting out is; switch your ‘Auto Retaliate’ & ‘Attack Option’ off. We’re pretty sure you already know the reason behind it.

Here are a few items that’ll help you along your journey. Ardougne Cloak 3 or 4 (10% less chance of being caught), Rogue Outfit (double loot), Gloves of Silence, and Maple Blackjack & Dodgy Necklace (if Blackjacking).

Quests

To get a head start in Thieving, you can consider completing a few quests, as well as parts of the Ardougne Diary. The quests include Biohazard, Fight Arena, Tribal Totem, Tower of Life, and Hazeel Cult.

Level 1 to 38

You’ll be at an advantage while moving up the early levels if you have Ardougne Cloak on you. Anyhow, start by pickpocketing Men and Women until you reach level 5. You can also consider completing Fight Arena for 2,175 XP instead. This will help you jump right to level 14 Thieving.

If you’re not a quester, then switch to Cake Stalls at level 5. These stalls provide a bit of an advantage as they give you food on every successful attempt. It’s quite useful for low-level characters or beginners.

Level 5 to 38 (Alternative)

This alternate method may not be as quick as the one mentioned above, but you won’t need to worry about getting caught while attempting to thieve. Head to the Varrock Tea Stall at the east edge of the city to begin.

Level 38 to 55

The NPCs you pick now depend upon your priorities. You can either switch to Master Farms for a good amount of Runescape GP in the form of Seeds or pickpocket Warrior Women for better XP rates.

Level 55+

Blackjacking requires the completion of a quest called The Feud. So, if you can’t finish it, or you’re not interested in Blackjacking, then you can skip this method and move on to the next.

Once the quest is completed, you need to head over to Pollnivneach to begin blackjacking Bandits and Menaphite Thugs.

The process is to knock out your target, and then pickpocket them while they are unconscious. Make sure you bring lots of noted food to sell to the merchant and repurchase it back (un-noted form).

Level 55+ (Alternative)

Alternatively, you can start pickpocketing the Knights of Ardougne. Make sure you have at least the level 2 Ardougne Cape because you’ll need a hand to reach level 90.

First, you need to trap one of the Knights in a house at the marketplace. Or, you can simply switch worlds to find one where someone has already done it. Finally, spam your heart out for the XP.

Level 71+

Pyramid Plunder is one of the best parts of Thieving. You can access the minigame by accepting the Icthlarin’s Little Helper quest in Sophanem. You’ll have to speak to the NPC called Wanderer with a kitten tagged along with you.

The minigame revolves around searching urns and chests in a pyramid. You can occasionally get poisoned so we advise you to bring lots of food supplies and anti-poison pots. Make sure you’ve also completed the quest called ‘Contact!’ to get access to a bank.

Conclusion

We guarantee that you’ll have a lot of fun while training Thieving because this is a skill enjoyed by all. Now that we’ve covered everything there is to know about the skill, we wish you the best of luck on your journey to maxing out!

Runescape HD – a Unique Review

My first impression of the game is very good – it is very easy to set up an account and the introduction is fairly detailed, though it seems to lack information in all parts of the game. The graphics are very good, in 3d, with a wide range of details so any computer, fast or slow, can play it. The music was fitting with the game, and very high quality, if very repetitive. The game also has a large amount of free content, and anyone could easily play the only the free version of the game. To make sure my review is complete, I bought the pay version of the game for one month, using my credit card, at the cost of 5.95$USD. The game offered a wide range of payment methods, though credit cards are the cheapest. You can buy membership for a wide range of time lengths, or a monthly fee.

The game had a large amount of skills and quests. The quests were fun, and there were different lengths and difficulties available, for players of any skill level. The skills were fun, if slightly repetitive. The game was just difficult enough to make it fun, without being frustrating. The explorable world was huge, and there was a large number of “minigames”. I was able to play for hours at a time without loosing interest. The in-game economy seemed well developed, and I was impressed by the holiday events released each year around the time of certain holidays, such as Halloween or Easter.

Compared to other games, Runescape offered a lot of content for free. You could play a majority of skills, and level them to the highest level possible, 99. You could play some quests, though you could play far more in the paid version of the game. The accessible areas were very large. There was an advertisement at the top of the page, but it was a small banner advertisement, and in no way effected the quality of the game. If you are not interested in paying for a game, Runescape is a very good choice.

I would recommend this game to just about anyone. It is fun, has a large amount activities, and has a large number of options for those willing to pay to play, as well as those who are not willing to. The graphics and music is very good, and it requires no downloads, making it accessible everywhere.

World of Warcraft – Warlock Guide

World of Warcraft Warlock Guide

Part 1 – Choosing Your Race

World of Warcraft is a MMORPG of epic proportions. There are millions of subscribers across the globe that fight for the glory of the Alliance, or defend the honor of the Horde. One of the most intricate classes to master is that of the warlock. This is a multi-section guide which will focus choosing a racial class, talents, casting guides and macros, gear, pvp strategies, and of course, demons.

A warlock is basically a mage who dived a bit too deep in the magic of demonology. Forgoing such schools of magic such as arcane, frost, and nature, the warlock focuses his or her power on the magic of shadow and fire. Most importantly, warlocks have the ability to summon mystical demons which will defend, fight, and add attributes to the warlock master.

The first step towards creating a warlock is to determine which racial class is right for you. All warlocks are able to use daggers, wands, swords (with training), and staves (with training). Warlocks are only allowed to wear cloth armor which renders them highly susceptible to melee damage. Keep these facts in mind when choosing a race for your warlock.

The races available to warlocks are undead, orc, and blood elf for the Horde. The Alliance are allowed to choose from humans or gnomes.

Racial Class – Horde

Because the warlock is essentially a caster, it is important to choose a race wisely. There are three races available to the Horde warlock: undead, orc, and blood elf. The Alliance can have human or gnome warlocks. Each class has their advantages and disadvantages both with stats and racial abilities. This portion of the guide will review the attributes of each race as well as certain key abilities which are essential to a warlock’s survival.

Undead warlocks start with a balanced total of stamina (22) and intellect (20). This balance is very attractive as it allows the undead warlock to evenly cast spells with adequate health points. An undead warlock has two racial abilities which are key to a warlock’s survival. Will of the Forsaken is an instant cast ability which allows the warlock to break fear effects. This is a tremendous advantage especially during pvp fights. In addition, undead warlocks can use Cannibalize to eat a humanoid corpse to gain health. Because warlocks use Lifetap (converts x amount of health into mana) on a consistent basis, it’s handy to have another means to regenerate health.

Orc warlocks stats are tilted slightly more towards stamina (23) than intellect (19). This makes for an interesting situation as orcs can use Lifetap more liberally thus gaining mana easily. Orc warlocks also benefit from their racial trait called Hardiness. This ability gives orcs a 15% bonus resistance to stun and knockdown effects. This is key for a caster as a stunned, or knockdowned caster cannot cast spells. Since warlocks can only wear cloth armor, this equates to a very quick death.

Blood elf warlocks start with the most intellect (26) amongst all Horde classes which equates to the most mana. Their stamina is low however (19) which makes for a slightly more fragile warlock. Blood elves have a racial ability called Mana Tap and Arcane Torrent.Mana Tap reduces target’s mana by 51 and charges you with Arcane energy for 10 min. When combined with Arcane Torrent it will silence all enemies within 8 yards for 2 sec also, you gain 5 + 1/Level mana restored per Mana Tap charge. Basically this equates to another source of mana. Although this ability is a plus, the fact that warlocks can Lifetap make this ability underpowered.

Racial Class – Alliance

The Alliance gets to choose from two racial classes for their warlocks: humans and gnomes. Like the Horde classes, each race has their advantages and disadvantages.

Human, like the undead, offer the most balanced stats. With 21 stamina and 20 intellect, humans can easily bounce back and forth from health to mana with the use of Lifetap. Perhaps the most limiting factor of human warlocks is that their racial abilities do not directly help with combat. Humans do get Perception which will increase stealth detection. However, warlocks also get Detect Invisibility which essentially does the same thing. The only useful racial trait humans get is The Human Spirit which increases spirit by 10%. However, most warlocks do not concentrate on spirit stats as Lifetap can supply mana faster than spirit regeneration.

Gnome warlocks are intellect heavy (26) while low on stamina (20). Interestingly enough, gnomes start with 200 mana which is the highest compared to the other races. In addition, gnomes have two racial abilities which are important to the survival of a warlock. Escape Artist allows a gnome warlock to break out of a root or snare effect. This is similar to the undead version Will of the Forsaken, however allows gnome to break out of immobilization effects thus taking the gnome out of melee range. In addition, gnomes get Expansive Mind. This handy little racial trait increases intellect by 5%, thud decreasing the need for Lifetap.

In summary, each class has its advantages and disadvantages. If you decide to play a warlock, look carefully at your playstyle to determine what class will suit your needs. All classes offer benefits as well as disadvantages. Also keep in mind that there is no limit as to how many characters you can have in World of Warcraft. If you make an undead warlock and do not like it, you can easily replace it with a human warlock. Good luck and happy casting!

Tips on Avoiding Runescape Scams

For Runescape players out there, there is next to nothing more horrible than losing your most prized items–not because they were taken off of your slain player’s body, but because you were tricked into giving them to someone in a legal trade.

There are a few major scams that abound: the ‘Hey, give me your items real quick and I’ll give you something cool.’ scam, the ‘Drop Your Items and Hit Alt + F4’ scam, scams where one player goes into the Wilderness following a player they believe to be their friend into a trap, among others.

A scam that has worked extremely well in the past for many a scammer is the one that goes like this:

Someone advertises a Rune Scimitar certificate for trade. You’ve been looking for a Rune Scimitar for a while, so you go to the player and tell him you want to trade. He offers a trade with you, and you accept. He puts the Rune Scimitar certificate on his side, and just when you’re about to put your money, the scammer will switch the Rune Scimitar certificate for a Mithril Scimitar certificate.

When you confirm the trade, you’ll find that you just bought a Mithril Scimitar for the cost of a Rune Scimitar–something of a 300% overpaying.

A variation of this trade scam works basically the same way, except instead of switching the certificates at the last minute, trying to time it before you accept the trade so that you don’t notice, the scammer will put the Rune Scimitar up on his or her side of the trade, and you’ll accept it, having checked time and time again that it is, in fact, the Rune Scimitar, because you’ve heard of this scam before. But this time, the scammer will exit out of the window and claim that his computer froze or something, and will re-initiate the trade with you, the idea being that you will be in a hurry, put your money up quickly and accept the trade, without noticing that the scammer has switched the Rune Scimitar certificate item he had been trading earlier with a Mithril Scimitar.

These scams work because the Rune Scimitar and Mithril Scimitar look very similar to the new player or hurried player. These two scams work on rushedness and impatience. Always be careful with who you trade with and make sure you inspect the trade carefully. If a trade goes bad, and you have been scammed, report the scamming via the Report button in your game screen.

Another very well-established scam is this:

A player goes around advertising that he is starting a clan (or faction, or club, or party, or whatever you want to call it.), and that one of the requirements is that you have X item. For the purpose of this example, let’s call Item X a Mithril Scimitar. The would-be clan-leader that is a scammer also advertises that, if you join his clain, he would be willing to take your Mithril Scimitar and give you a Rune Scimitar–just for being in the clan.

Because you’re a cautious player, you’ll wait for one of the others that are being invited and initiated into the clan to exchange the Mith for the Rune first. You see the two players go toward each other, trade initiated, and a few seconds later, the person supposedly receiving the Rune Scimitar exclaims something to suggest that they are extremely satisfied. They go show everyone that they did, in fact, get their Rune Scimitar. Now, you’re convinced for sure.

You go give the guy your Mithril Scimitar, and then he runs away with it, without giving you any Rune.

Here’s the trick: all or most of the people supposedly joining the clan are friends of the scammer. They pretend to exchange Mithril for Rune, and show everyone to prove it; then, when they ask you to give them your Mithril, they do. They then run off with your Rune and Mithril Scimitars.

In an even more advanced measure of this scam, once the trade has been completed, the main scammer who is supposedly dealing out Rune items will log off, and then his comrades will exclaim that they’ve all been scammed! They then all claim to report him, and tell you that they’ll go log into the different Servers/Worlds of Runescape to go look for the revealed scammer.

They will try to get you to log out and check another World as well; but once you do this, it becomes impossible for you to report him, because your event log and screencapture from that logon session have been cleared!

Be very careful who you trade with, Runescape players.

For a game, it’s a very treacherous world.
